Wireless Charger Module - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Note

For wireless charger module fastened on a screw-secured phone dock, use correction code 1519010232.

For wireless charger module fastened on a clip-secured phone dock, use correction code 1519010272.

Procedure (Clip)

  1. Replace the wireless charger module. See Phone Dock (Clip) - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  2. After installing the phone dock and wireless charger module assembly, place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Disconnect the LV battery connector from the LV battery: release the green locking tab, press the black connector (if applicable, on 16V battery), pull the black connector lock outwards to release the connector, and then pull up to disconnect the connector.
  5. Disconnect the first responder loop.

    Note
    Before proceeding to service the vehicle, allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to discharge.
  6. Connect the first responder loop.

    CAUTION
    Connect the first responder loop BEFORE connecting the LV battery connector.
  7. Connect the LV battery connectors to the LV battery: insert the connector, push the black connector lock inwards to engage the lock, ensure the connector is fully seated, and then engage the green locking tab.
  8. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  9. Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  10. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
