  1. Inspect the vehicle for abnormal tire wear that might indicate the need for a wheel alignment, and note any findings.
  2. Put the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
  3. Open all doors and lower all four windows.
  4. Move the front seats forward.
  5. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock.
  6. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): Run ODIN routine PROC_VCFRONT_X_START-THERMAL-FILL-DRAINvia Toolbox: (link)via Service Mode:
    • Thermal ➜ Actions ➜ Start Thermal Fill/Drain
    • Thermal ➜ Coolant System ➜ Start Coolant Fill/Drain
    • Thermal ➜ Refrigerant System ➜ Start Refrigerant Fill/Drain
    via Service Mode Plus: Drive Inverter ➜ Front Drive Inverter Replacement ➜ Start Fluid Fill/Drain
  7. Disconnect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  8. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  9. Perform Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure. See Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure (Test/Adjust).
  10. Set the steering wheel straight ahead.
  11. Using the steering wheel holder, lock the steering wheel into position.
  12. Remove bolt securing steering column to steering gear assembly
