Remove
- Remove the HVAC lower mode actuator. See Actuator - Lower Mode - HVAC (Remove and Install).
Replace
- Remove the HVAC lower mode actuator. See Actuator - Lower Mode - HVAC (Remove and Install).
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "Actuator" into the search field, click TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_X_HVAC-CASE-ACTUATORSvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle and exit Service Mode Plus.
