Washer Hose - Front Fascia Camera (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the front fascia camera washer hose.

    Note
    Unlock the black tab and then disconnect the hose.
  3. Release the clip that attaches the front camera washer hose to the washer reservoir.
  4. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the washer reservoir to the front end carrier, and then move the reservoir aside.

    Be careful not to spill washer fluid from the reservoir.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  5. Release the clip that attaches the washer hose to the body.
  6. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera cover to the front fascia assembly.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  7. Release the nano nozzle to disconnect the washer hose.
  8. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the washer hose to the vehicle, and then install the clip that attaches the washer hose to the body.
  2. Install the nano nozzle to connect the washer hose.

    Perform a pull-push-pull test to verify the hose is fully connected.
  3. Install the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera cover to the front fascia assembly.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  4. Move the washer reservoir back to its original position, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the washer reservoir to the front end carrier.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Be careful not to spill washer fluid from the reservoir.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  5. Install the clip that attaches the front camera hose to the washer reservoir.
  6. Connect the front fascia camera washer hose.

    Lock the black tab to connect the hose.

    The hose may not be present on early production vehicles.
  7. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  8. Verify operation of the windshield wipers and washer.
