        Open LH front door
        
- 
        Lower LH front window
        
- 
        Move LH front seat backward
        NoteVia UI > Seat Controls
- 
        Open hood
        
- 
        Remove rear underhood apron
        Note14x clips
- 
        Open RH front door
        
- 
        Lower RH front window
        
- 
        Move RH front seat backward
        NoteVia UI > Seat Controls
- 
        Power off vehicle from center display
        NoteVia Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box
- 
        Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
        Note2x connectors, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge
- 
        Partially release LH front primary door seal
        NoteRelease lower section of LH front primary door seal
- 
        Remove LH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        Remove LH upper A-pillar trim
        Note5x clips, 1x metal clip, 2x guide tabs, 1x alignment pin, Depress both tabs to release metal clip, Pull inside of upper portion of upper A-pillar, Then pull upper A-pillar upward to remove
- 
        Partially release RH front primary door seal
        NoteRelease lower section of RH front primary door seal
- 
        Remove RH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        Remove RH upper A-pillar trim
        Note5x clips, 1x metal clip, 2x guide tabs,1x alignment pin, Depress both tabs to release metal clip, Pull inside of the upper portion of upper A-pillar, Depress 2x tabs to remove tether from body side, Then pull upper A-pillar upward to remove

        Release RH footwell cover
        Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab, 1x connector
- 
        Remove RH knee airbag bolt covers
        Note2x covers
- 
        Remove RH knee air bag bolts
        Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, Discard bolts after removal
- 
        Remove RH knee airbag assembly
        Note1x airbag connector, 1x connector, Peel back plastic film, Release by pulling back both white tabs simultaneously, Avoid straining harness, Only one tab visible in image matching tab is on opposite side
- 
        Remove clips securing passenger footwell duct
        Note2x clips
- 
        Disconnect glove box USB cable connector from car computer
        Note1x connector, Release locking tab then release connector
- 
        Remove screws securing glove box to IP
        Note4x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Release glove box from IP assembly
        Note10x clips, 3x locator pins, 1x datum, Avoid damage to electromagnetic switch
- 
        Remove glove box
        Note2x connectors
- 
        Remove RH passenger footwell duct from HVAC module
        
- 
        Disconnect RH IP air wave duct thermistor connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove clips securing RH air wave duct to IP
        Note2x push clips
- 
        Remove RH IP air wave duct from HVAC module
        
- 
        Release LH footwell cover
        Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab
- 
        Remove connectors from LH footwell cover 
        Note1x connector, 1x OBDII connector, Release OBDII connector by depressing tabs from front side
- 
        Remove LH knee airbag bolt covers
        Note2x covers
- 
        Remove LH knee air bag bolts
        Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, Discard bolts after removal
- 
        Remove LH knee airbag assembly
        Note1x connector, Peel back plastic film, Release by pulling back both white tabs simultaneously, Avoid straining harness, Only one tab visible in image matching tab is on opposite side
- 
        Remove screw securing IP lower assembly to IP assembly
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Remove IP lower assembly from IP assembly
        Note13x tabs
- 
        Release driver air bag assembly away from steering wheel
        Note2x spring clips, 2x datums, Press the spring simultaneously from two access holes to release, Access holes located at 4 and 8 o’clock position, Do not insert tool too far as air bag connector could be damaged
- 
        Disconnect driver air bag connector and removal air bag assembly
        Note1x connector
- 
        Disconnect steering wheel connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove bolt securing steering wheel to steering column
        Note1x patch bolt, 10mm hex, 80 Nm, Discard after removal, Counter hold the steering wheel when breaking bolt loose
- 
        Mark steering wheel to steering column
        NoteAlign the marking during installation
- 
        Disconnect SCCM assembly connector
        Note1x connector, Remove retaining clip on the connector, Release connector, Then remove the remaining broken clip from connector, Discard retaining clip after removal, Originally installed clip is black, Replacement clip is orange
- 
        Remove steering wheel from steering column
        
- 
        Remove lower shroud from upper shroud
        Note2x location clips, 5x guide tabs
- 
        Remove upper shroud from steering column
        Note2x screws, T20, 1.5 Nm, 1x location slot
- 
        Disconnect SCCM assembly connector
        Note1x connector, Remove retaining clip on the connector, Release connector, Then remove the remaining broken clip from connector, Discard retaining clip after removal, Originally installed clip is black, Replacement clip is orange
- 
        Loosen bolt securing SCCM with stalk to steering column 
        Note1x bolt, T20, 2.4 Nm, Loosen only, Do not remove
- 
        Remove SCCM with stalk from steering column
        
- 
        Release IP service panel from IP
        Note4x tabs, 2x guide pins,
- 
        Disconnect temperature sensor connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove bolts securing center display to IP assembly
        Note2x patch bolts, 10mm, 16 Nm, Discard after removal, Slide towards rear of vehicle to remove
- 
        Disconnect harness connectors from center display
        Note2x connectors
- 
        Remove center display from vehicle
        
- 
        Remove speaker grille assembly
        Note9x clips, 9x tabs, Be careful not to damage the IP and windshield
- 
        Remove float wing assembly
        Note17 clips, 1x datum, replace damaged fixing clips as needed When disassembling, pay attention to buckle area and place tool at bottom of buckle to prevent damage to other components
- 
        Remove LH IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Remove center IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Remove RH IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Disconnect passenger airbag squib connectors
        Note3x connectors, Release each white tab at the same time to disconnect
- 
        Remove bolts securing IP assembly to cross car beam near passenger air bag
        Note2x patch bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Discard after removal
- 
        Release IP harness from cross car beam
        Note1x slot
- 
        Disconnect  IP harness connector from IP RH side
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove screw securing IP assembly to cross car beam on upper LH side
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x datum
- 
        Remove screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam on lower LH side
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 2x datums
- 
        Remove screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam at lower center
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 3x datums
- 
        Remove screw securing IP assembly  to cross car beam on upper RH side
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x datum
- 
        Disconnect IP harness connector from IP LH side
        Note1x connector, Gently pull out the left instrument panel and lift it to facilitate disconnect the connector
- 
        Remove IP upper assembly from vehicle
        Note4x guide tabs, 2x tabs, Recommend assistance
- 
        Release LH defrost duct from IP assembly
        Note2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Remove LH defrost duct from IP assembly
        
- 
        Disconnect driver air duct height adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Disconnect driver air duct horizontal adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove LH IP harness from IP assembly
        Note4x clips
- 
        Release driver air vent
        Note5x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 4x datums
- 
        Remove driver air vent
        
- 
        Release RH defrost duct from IP assembly
        Note2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Remove RH defrost duct from IP assembly 
        
- 
        Disconnect passenger air duct height adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Disconnect passenger air duct horizontal adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove RH IP harness from IP assembly
        Note2x clips, 2x slots
- 
        Release passenger air vent  from IP assembly
        Note5x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm,4x datums
- 
        Remove passenger air vent from IP assembly
        
- 
        Remove passenger air bag
        Note6x patch bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Discard fasteners after removal
- 
        Remove IP upper assembly from Portable Bench
        NoteRecommend assistance
- 
        Place IP upper assembly onto Portable Bench
        NoteRecommend assistance
- 
        Install passenger air bag
        Note6x patch bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Verify all tabs are secured into carrier, Install new bolts
- 
        Position passenger air vent to IP assembly
        
- 
        Install passenger air vent to IP assembly
        Note5x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm,3x datums
- 
        Install RH IP harness to IP assembly
        Note2x clips, 2x slots
- 
        Connect passenger air duct horizontal adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Connect passenger air duct height adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Position RH defrost duct to IP assembly
        
- 
        Install RH defrost duct to IP assembly 
        Note2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Position driver air vent to IP assembly
        
- 
        Install driver air vent to IP assembly
        Note5x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm,4x datums
- 
        Install LH IP harness to IP assembly
        Note4x clips
- 
        Connect driver air duct horizontal adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Connect driver air duct height adjustment actuator
        Note1x connector
- 
        Position LH defrost duct to IP assembly
        
- 
        install LH defrost duct to IP
          assembly
        Note2x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        install IP upper assembly onto
          vehicle
        Note4x guide tabs, 2x tabs, Recommend assistance, Be careful not to press speaker connector onto the IP
- 
        Connect IP harness connector from IP LH side
        Note1x connector, Gently pull out the left instrument panel and lift it to facilitate connect the connector
- 
        Install screw securing IP assembly to cross car beam on upper RH side
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x datum
- 
        Install screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam at lower center
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 3x datums
- 
        Install screw securing IP assembly to cross car beam on upper LH side
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x datum
- 
        Install screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam on lower LH side
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 2x datums
- 
        Connect IP harness connector to IP RH side
        Note1x connector
- 
        Install IP harness to cross car beam
        Note1x slot
- 
        Connect passenger airbag squib connectors 
        Note3x connectors, Ensure all connectors fully engage
- 
        install bolts securing IP assembly to
          cross car beam near passenger air bag
        Note2x patch bolts, E10, 8 Nm, Install new bolts
- 
        Install RH IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Install center IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Install LH IP speaker
        Note3x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm, 1x connector
- 
        Install float wing assembly
        Note17x clips, 1x datum
- 
        Install speaker grille assembly
        Note9x clips, 9x tabs, Be careful not to damage the IP and windshield
- 
        Position center display into vehicle
        
- 
        Connect center display connectors
        Note2x connectors
- 
        Install center display to IP assembly
        Note2x patch bolts, 10mm, 16 Nm, Install new patch bolts, Slide towards front of vehicle
- 
        Connect temperature sensor connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Install IP service panel
        Note4x tabs, 2x guide pins
- 
        Position SCCM with stalk onto steering column
        
- 
        Tighten bolt securing SCCM with stalk to steering column
        Note1x bolt, T20, 2.4 Nm
- 
        Connect SCCM assembly connector
        Note1x connector, Install new orange retaining clip to connector then install SCCM connector, Perform push-pull-push to make sure connector is seated properly
- 
        Install upper shroud to steering column
        Note2x screws, T20, 1.5 Nm, 1x location slot
- 
        Install lower shroud onto upper shroud
        Note2x location clips, 5x guide tabs
- 
        Position steering wheel to steering column
        NoteAlign the marking and keyed part of steering wheel and column, the steering wheel and column are keyed
- 
        Install bolt securing steering wheel to steering column
        Note1x patch bolt, 10mm hex, 80 Nm, Install new patch bolt
- 
        Connect steering wheel connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Connect driver airbag connector
        Note1x connector, Make sure that the driver air bag harness doesn’t get caught between the driver air bag and the horn mechanism
- 
        Install driver air bag assembly to steering wheel
        Note2x spring clips, 2x datums, Position driver air bag onto steering wheel, Align datums onto clips, Press down on one side of air bag until clip is fully seated, then repeat on other side, You should hear an audible click, Perform pull test on each side of driver air bag assembly, Confirm the gap and space between driver air bag assembly to steering wheel is symmetrical

        Install IP lower assembly to IP assembly

        Install screw securing IP lower assembly to IP assembly
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Install LH knee airbag assembly
        Note1x connector, Ensure airbag connector is fully engaged, Apply knee airbag label over squib assembly
- 
        Install LH knee air bag bolts
        Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, Install new bolts
- 
        Install LH knee airbag bolt covers
        Note2x covers
- 
        Install connectors to LH footwell cover 
        Note1x connector, 1x OBDII connector, Ensure tabs engage on OBDII connector
- 
        Install LH footwell cover
        Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab
- 
        Install RH IP air wave duct to HVAC module
        
- 
        Install clips securing RH IP air wave duct
        Note2x push clips
- 
        Connect thermistor connector RH IP air wave duct
        Note1x connector
- 
        Install RH passenger footwell duct to HVAC module
        
- 
        Position glove box assembly
        Note2x connectors
- 
        Install glove box into IP assembly
        Note10x clips, 3x locator pin, 1x datum
- 
        Install screws securing glove box assembly to IP assembly
        Note4x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Connect glove box USB cable to car computer
        Note1x connector, Engage locking tab
- 
        Install clips securing passenger footwell duct
        Note2x push clips, Ensure that the footwell duct is installed in place
- 
        Install RH knee airbag assembly
        Note1x airbag connector, 1x connector, Ensure airbag connector is fully engaged, Place plastic film back over squib assembly
- 
        Install RH knee air bag bolts
        Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, Install new bolts
- 
        Install RH knee airbag bolt covers
        Note2x covers
- 
        Install RH footwell cover 
        Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab, 1x connector
- 
        Install RH upper A-pillar trim
        Note5x clips, 1x metal clip, 2x guide tabs,1x alignment pin, Slide bottom of trim along IP and speaker grill, attach tether to body side, Set clips starting at the bottom and work up, Pull seal over trim
- 
        Install RH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        install seat lower section of RH front
          primary seal
        NoteVerify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
- 
        Install LH upper A-pillar trim
        Note6x clips, 1x metal clip, 2x guide tabs, 1x alignment pin, Slide bottom of trim along IP and speaker grill, attach tether to body side, Set clips starting at the bottom then work up, Pull seal over trim
- 
        Install LH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        Install LH front primary seal
        NoteVerify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
- 
        Connect first responder loop and LV battery
        Note2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
- 
        Install rear underhood apron
        Note14x clips, Hold rear wall of frunk to keep from flexing while engaging front clips
- 
        Close hood
        
- 
        Move RH front seat to original position

        Raise RH front window
        
- 
        Close RH front door
        
- 
        Move LH front seat to original position
        NoteVia UI > Seat Controls
- 
        Raise LH front window
        
- 
        Close LH front door
