Ensure the vehicle is not charging.
  2. Open all four doors and lower all four windows.
  3. Perform Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure. See Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure (Test/Adjust).
  4. Remove the rear aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves.
  6. Remove and discard the breather plugs (x2) from the HV battery vent shroud assembly.
  7. Install the air splitter hoses (x2) to the shroud assembly.
  8. Remove HV insulating gloves.
  9. Connect the regulator onto the air splitter.
  10. Close both valves on the pack enclosure leak tester, and then connect a compressed air supply line.
  11. Open the inlet valve.
  12. Set the regulator to 0.15 psi.
  13. Open the outlet valve to inject air into the platter enclosure, and allow at least 45 seconds for the pressure to stabilize to 0.15 psi.
  14. Close the inlet valve, record the starting pressure displayed, and then start a 60-second timer.
  15. After 60 seconds record the ending pressure displayed.
  16. Subtract the ending pressure from the starting pressure, and if:
    • If the difference is greater than 0.0054 psi, check the hose, adapter, and plug fittings, close the outlet valve and open the inlet valve, check the regulator pressure, and then retest from step 13. If the difference is still greater than 0.0054 psi, escalate a Toolbox session.
    • If the difference is 0.0054 psi or less, continue the procedure.
