Shell - Seat Back - Front Seat (Sport Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Warning
Seat base edges are
sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat
from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat
base.
Remove
- Remove the driver headrest trim from the seat. See Headrest - Front Seat (Sport Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Move the LH front seat to most forward and upward position.
- Remove strap clips for lower section from LF seat back shell assembly.
- Release headrest bracket assembly.

Remove LH seat back shell assembly
from seat back frame.
NotePull the shell away from the top of the seat, when the side clips are free, pull the bottom and carefully roll the bottom tabs out of the slots.
Install

Install the seat back shell assembly to seat back frame.
NoteInstall the lower clips first and rotate the shell up into place, light pressure may need to be applied to the shell to ensure it's fully seated, the headrest posts will engage the seat back when installed.
- Hook strap clips onto seat back shell assembly.
- Install headrest bracket assembly.
- Install the driver headrest trim to the seat. See Headrest - Front Seat (Sport Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Close LH rear door.
- Move the LH front seat to most forward and upward position.
- Raise LH front window and Close LH front door.
