- 2025-09-05: Released new procedure.
- 
        Open LH front door
        
- 
        Lower LH front window
        
- 
        Open hood
        
- 
        Partially release LH front primary door seal
        NoteRelease lower section of LH front primary door seal
- 
        Remove LH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        Remove screw securing IP lower assembly to IP assembly
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Remove IP lower assembly from IP assembly
        Note13x tabs
- 
        Remove rear underhood apron
        Note14x clips
- 
        Power off vehicle from center display
        NoteVia Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialogue box
- 
        Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
        Note2x connectors, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge
- 
        Move steering column to the most outward position
        Note1x lever, manually adjust, lock lever in place once adjusted
- 
        Release driver air bag assembly away from steering wheel
        Note2x spring clips, 2x datums, Press the spring simultaneously from two access holes to release, Access holes located at 4 and 8 o’clock position, Do not insert tool too far as air bag connector could be damaged
- 
        Disconnect driver air bag connector and removal air bag assembly
        Note1x connector
- 
        Disconnect steering wheel connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Remove bolt securing steering wheel to steering column
        Note1x patch bolt, 10mm hex, 80 Nm, Discard after removal, Counter hold the steering wheel when breaking bolt loose
- 
        Remove steering wheel from steering column
        
- 
        Release steering column lower shroud from upper shroud
        Note1x alignment clip,2x retention holes
- 
        Remove upper shroud from steering column
        Note2x screws, T20, 1.5 Nm, 6x clips
- 
        Disconnect SCCM assembly connector
        Note1x connector, Remove retaining clip on the connector, Release connector, Then remove the remaining broken clip from connector, Discard retaining clip after removal, Originally installed clip is black, Replacement clip is orange
- 
        Loosen bolt securing SCCM to steering column 
        Note1x bolt, T25, 2.4 Nm, Loosen only, Do not remove
- 
        Remove SCCM from steering column
        
- 
        Remove bolts securing gap hider lower from steering column 
        Note2x bolts, T25, 1.2 Nm
- 
        Remove lower gap hider from steering column
        Note2x locator clips ,4x retention holes
- 
        Install lower gap hider to steering
          column
        Note2x locator clips ,4x retention holes
- 
        Install bolts securing gap hider lower
          to steering column
        Note2x bolts,T25,1.4 Nm
- 
        Position SCCM onto steering column
        
- 
        Install SCCM to steering column
        Note1x bolt, T25, 2.4 Nm
- 
        Connect SCCM assembly connector
        Note1x connector, Install new orange retaining clip to connector then install SCCM connector, Perform push-pull-push to make sure connector is seated properly
- 
        Position steering wheel to column
        NoteAlign the marking and keyed part of steering wheel and column, the steering wheel and column are keyed
- 
        Install bolt securing steering wheel to steering column
        Note1x patch bolt, 10mm hex, 80 Nm, Install new patch bolt
- 
        Connect steering wheel connector
        Note1x connector
- 
        Connect driver airbag connector
        Note1x connector, Make sure that the driver air bag harness doesn’t get caught between the driver air bag and the horn mechanism
- 
        Install driver air bag assembly to steering wheel
        Note2x spring clips, 2x datums, Position driver air bag onto steering wheel, Align datums onto clips, Press down on one side of air bag until clip is fully seated, then repeat on other side, You should hear an audible click, Perform pull test on each side of driver air bag assembly, Confirm the gap and space between driver air bag assembly to steering wheel is symmetrical

        Install IP lower assembly to IP assembly
        Note13x tabs
- 
        Install screw securing IP lower assembly to IP assembly
        Note1x screw, T20, 2.3 Nm
- 
        Install LH IP end cap
        Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
- 
        Install LH front primary seal
        NoteVerify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
- 
        Connect first responder loop and LV battery
        Note2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
- 
        Install rear underhood apron
        Note14x clips, Hold rear wall of frunk to keep from flexing while engaging front clips
- 
        Close hood
        
- 
        Raise LH front window
        
- 
        Close LH front door
