Remove
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the front fascia camera
washer hose.
NoteUnlock the black tab and then disconnect the hose.NoteThe hose may not be present on early production vehicles. If not, skip this step.

Release the clip that attaches the
front camera washer hose to the washer reservoir.
NoteThe hose may not be present on early production vehicles. If not, skip this step.

Remove the bolts (x5) that attach the
upper portion of the front fascia to the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless hex driver
- 6 in nutsetter + 10 mm magnetic deep
- Torque wrench hexagon 1060071-00-A (for installation only)

Remove the clips (x5) that attach the
LH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia, and then move the liner aside for
access.
- Carefully insert an inflatable air bag between the front fascia and the LH wheel liner to better access the working area.

Remove the bolt that attaches the
front fascia to the LH front fender.
NoteAfter the bolt is removed, deflate the air bag and remove it from the vehicle.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless hex driver
- 6 in nutsetter + 8 mm magnetic deep
- Torque wrench hexagon 1060071-00-A (for installation only)
- Repeat step 5 through step 7 on the RH side of the vehicle.

Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the
valance to the front aero shield panel.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Torque wrench with angle measurement (for installation only)

Disconnect the front fascia
connector(s).
NoteOn early production vehicle, there is only 1 connector.

With assistance, release the clips
(x16) that attach the front fascia assembly to the vehicle, and then remove the assembly
from the vehicle.
NoteTake care not to damage the headlight or fenders during removal.NoteRelease both front corners first, and then pull upward and away from the vehicle.NotePlace the front fascia assembly on a padded surface.

Release the clip that attaches the
front fascia harness to the tow hook cover.

Disconnect the electrical connector
from the front fascia camera.
NoteThis connector may not be present on early production vehicles. If not, skip this step.

Disconnect the electrical connector
from the pedestrian warning speaker.

Use a clip prytool to release the
clips (x9) that attach the front fascia harness to the front fascia, then remove the
front fascia harness.
-
Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the
valance to the vehicle.
NoteThe nuts are accessed from behind the front of the wheel arch liners.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Remove the bolts (x8) that attach the
valance to the front fascia, and then remove the valance from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T40 socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
grille to the front fascia.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- 4 in extension
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Remove the clips (x16) that attach the
grille to the front fascia.

Remove the nuts (x8) that attach the
front fascia to the front valance.
NotePush both side lock pieces to release the nuts.
Install

Install the nuts (x8) that attach the
front fascia to the front valance.
NoteReplace any nuts if damaged.NoteMake sure that the nuts are fully in place.
- Position the grille onto the front fascia.

Install the clips (x16) that attach
the grille to the front fascia.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
grille to the front fascia.
1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T25 socket
- 4 in extension
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Install the valance to the front
fascia, and install the bolts (x8) that attach the valance to the fascia.
3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T40 socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Install the nuts (x2) that attach the
valance to the vehicle.

Install the clips (x9) that attach the

Install the bolt that attaches the
front fascia to the LH front fender.
2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)NoteAfter the bolt is installed, deflate the air bag and remove it from the vehicle.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless hex driver
- 6 in nutsetter + 8 mm magnetic deep
- Torque wrench hexagon 1060071-00-A (for installation only)

Fasten the clips (x5) that attach the
LH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia, and then move the liner aside for
access.
- Repeat step 13 through step 15 on the RH side of the vehicle.

Apply a thin bead of Loctite 222 to
the threads of the bolts (x4) that attach the valance to the front aero shield
panel.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Torque wrench with angle measurement (for installation only)

Install the bolts (x5) that attach the
upper portion of the front fascia to the vehicle.
3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless hex driver
- 6 in nutsetter + 10 mm magnetic deep
- Torque wrench hexagon 1060071-00-A (for installation only)

Install the clip that attaches the
front camera hose to the washer reservoir.

Connect the front fascia camera washer
hose.
NoteLock the black tab to connect the hose.NoteThe hose may not be present on early production vehicles.
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)
- Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): PING-HTTP_DAS_X_FASCIA-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox: (link)

- Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle.
