Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove
- Open the rear LH door, and fully lower the window.
- Release the clips (x4) of the rear LH door electrical harness seal at the B-pillar, and pull the wiring harness out of the B-pillar bulkhead.
- Disconnect the LH rear door harness connector from the LH body harness.

Remove the bolt that
attaches the LH rear door check strap to the body.
NoteUnbolting the door check allows the door to swing freely beyond opening limits.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 4 in extension
- Torx T40 socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench

With assistance, remove the
bolts (x4) that attach the LH rear door assembly to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
Install
- With assistance, hand-tighten the bolts (x4) that attach the LH rear door assembly to the vehicle.

Install the bolt that
attaches the door check to the B-pillar.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 4 in extension
- Torx T40 socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the LH rear door harness connector from the LH body harness.
- Secure the tabs (x4) that attach the LH rear door harness seal to the B-pillar.

Close the LH rear door and
check for gap/flushness.
NoteIf the shouldered / tapered bolts are not allowing for successful adjustment, replace the selected shouldered / tapered bolts with 1063260-00-C. Adjust the LH rear door, if necessary. Refer to CVIS for current specifications.

Tighten the bolts (x4) that attach the LH rear door assembly to the
vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Raise the rear LH window and close LH rear door.
