LV Maintainer (Connect and Disconnect) (Maintenance)

Connect
- On the touchscreen, select the badge icon in Controls > Software for four seconds, and then type "service" into the dialog box to place the vehicle in service mode.
- Release the positive terminal cover.

Secure the LV maintainer positive terminal to the jump post.
CAUTIONTo avoid damaging the vehicle, DO NOT allow the positive cable to make contact with other metal components.
- Secure the LV maintainer negative terminal to the VCFront bracket bolt (as indicated on the VCFront label).

Connect the LV maintainer to a power supply, and then power on.
CAUTIONNever have a LV maintainer and the LV battery simultaneously connected for any extended period of time.

Disconnect the LV battery connector
from the LV battery: lift up to release the green locking tab, and pull the black
connector lock outwards to release the connector, then pull up to disconnect the
connector.
NoteKeep the FRL connected.
Disconnect

Connect the LV battery connector to
the LV battery: insert the connector, then push the black connector lock inwards to
engage the connector, and then seat the green locking tab after lock is fully
secured.
NoteIf the vehicle does not power up after the LV battery is connected, power up the vehicle with an approved external power supply.
- Power off the LV maintainer.
- Release the negative terminal connection from the vehicle first, and then release the positive terminal.
- Secure the positive terminal cover.
