Remove

Remove the front fascia
assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the front fascia harness, valance and grille from the front fascia assembly.
- Remove the front bumper beam foam. See Foam - Bumper Beam - Front (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the center impact accelerometer sensor.

Remove the bolts (x2) that
attach the center impact accelerometer sensor bracket to the front bumper
beam.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Remove the bolts (x4) that
attach the front bumper beam to the LH and RH crush cans.

- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 15 mm socket
- 15 mm Combination Wrench

Use a pry bar to release the
front bumper beam from the LH and RH crush cans.
CAUTIONDo not damage the body when prying the front bumper.TIpSlightly tap the front bumper beam with a dead blow hammer to assist with removal of the front bumper.

Remove the front bumper beam from the vehicle.
Install
- Position the front bumper beam foam onto the front bumper beam.
- Use a dead blow hammer to install the front bumper beam to the LH and RH crush cans.

Install the bolts (x4) that
attach the front bumper beam to the LH and RH crush cans.
75 Nm (55.3 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 15 mm socket

Install the bolts (x2) that
attach the center impact accelerometer sensor bracket to the front bumper
beam.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm socket

Connect the center impact accelerometer sensor.
- Install the front bumper beam foam. See Foam - Bumper Beam - Front (Remove and Replace).
- Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace).
