Mud Flaps (Retrofit)

- 2024-02-04: Updated the torque value and the recommended tools for the bolts that attach the mud flaps and the rocker covers to the body.

Procedure
- Open the LH front door.
- Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to provide access to the working area.
- Remove the clips (x2) that attach the LH front wheel arch liner to the body.
- Use a small flat head screw driver to open the front LH lower rocker panel bolt access cover.

Remove the bolt that
attaches the rocker cover to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Put on cut-resistant gloves,
and then use a retractable blade knife to carefully cut off the open access
cover from the rocker cover.
WarningEnsure cut-resistant gloves are worn during this step to avoid personal injury.
- Position the LH mud flap onto the wheel liner and the rocker cover, then secure the clips (x2).

Install the bolt to attach
the LH mud flap and the rocker cover to the body.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Repeat step 2 to 8 for the RH side.
- Center the steering wheel.
- Close the LH front door.
