Bracket - Fascia Side to Fender - RH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Press the brake pedal to turn on the drive rail.
  3. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.
  4. Remove the clips (x3) that attach the RH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia, and then move the liner aside for access.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the front fascia to the RH front fender.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Cordless hex driver
    • 8 mm magnetic deep
    • 6 in nutsetter
  6. Use a plastic trim tool to release the clips (x6) that attach the front fascia to the front fender.
  7. Carefully pull aside the corner of the front fascia away from the front fender.
  8. Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the RH fascia side to fender bracket to the RH front fender, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver

Install

  1. Position the RH fascia side to fender bracket onto the RH front fender.
  2. Install the nuts (x2) that attach the RH fascia side to fender bracket to the RH front fender.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  3. Install the clips (x6) that attach the front fascia to the front fender.
  4. Install the bolt that attaches the front fascia to the RH front fender.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Cordless hex driver
    • 8 mm magnetic deep
    • 6 in nutsetter
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  5. Install the clips (x3) that attach the RH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia.
  6. Press the brake pedal to turn on the drive rail.
  7. Set the steering wheel straight ahead.
  8. Raise the H front window and raise the LH front door.
