Carrier - Side Shield - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

Remove the driver seat
outboard side shield assembly from the driver seat. See Side Shield - Outboard - LH (Remove and Replace).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the back rest and cushion adjust switch from the trim assembly after removing the trim from the seat.

Use a flat head screwdriver to release the front clips (x2) that attach the
driver seat outboard side shield carrier to the seat assembly.

Partially lift the carrier and then pull it backwards to release the rear
tabs (x2), and then rotate the carrier away to remove it from the seat
frame.
NoteDon't use too much force to prevent damage to the carrier and trim.
Install

Push the driver seat
outboard side shield carrier forward to secure the rear tabs (x2) into the
seat frame, and then rotate the carrier to install it to the seat
assembly.

- Install the front clips (x2) that attach the driver seat outboard side shield carrier to the seat assembly.
- Install the driver seat outboard side shield assembly. See Side Shield - Outboard - LH (Remove and Replace).
