Brake Shield - Front - LH (RWD) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Bolts (x3) that attach the LH front/rear brake shield to the knuckle
8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
  • 4 in extension
  • Torx T30 bit
  • DRIVER KIT, 1/4" HEX, M12
  • Ratchet/torque wrench
 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the LH front brake rotor. See Brake Rotor - Front (Base Brakes) - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH front hub. See Hub Assembly - Front - LH (RWD) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH front brake shield to the knuckle, and then remove the brake shield from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • Torx T30 bit
    • DRIVER KIT, 1/4" HEX, M12
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
