- Repeat step 4 and step 5 on the RH side of the front suspension.
- Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
-
Remove the front fascia
valance. See Valance - Front Fascia (Non-Performance) (Remove and Replace).
NoteNo need to remove the pedestrian warning speaker from the valance.
-
Check the torque for the nut
that attaches the LH front lower aft link to the front subframe, and then
mark the nut with a paint pen.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 6 in extension
- 21 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
-
Check the torque for the
nuts that attach the LH front lower lateral link to the front subframe, and
then mark the nuts with a paint pen.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Check the torque for the nut
to attach the stabilizer bar link to the stabilizer bar, and then mark the
nut with a paint pen.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 18 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Install the hub jack adapter onto the LH front hub and hand-tighten the lug nuts (x5).
- Position and raise the underhoist stand to simulate the suspension at ride height.
- Measure the distance between the bottom of the fender and the center of the front axle to make sure that the front suspension is set to ride height. The distance should measure 423 mm.
-
Check the torque for the nut
that attaches the LH front strut to the LH front lower control arm, and then
