Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See GUID-0ECF2493-88F6-48E9-ADBB-9AE1D52E217C.html.
  2. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  3. Partially lower the rear subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    No need to remove the attached parts on the subframe.
  4. Release the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle, and then remove the rear motor bay noise absorber.

Install

  1. Position the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle, and then install the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle.
  2. Re-install the rear subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Raise all windows and close all doors.
