Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the push clips (x6) that attach the LH and RH sides of the valance to the wheel arch liners.

    Remove the outer clips as necessary to allow for easier access to the nuts behind the wheel liner.
  3. Remove the clip that attaches the super horn cover to the front fascia.
  4. Remove the nuts (x2) at the LH and RH corners of the valance.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  5. Release the clip that attaches the super horn harness to the super horn, and then disconnect the super horn connector.

    Note
    The connector access may vary depending on the version of the super horn audio speaker installed on the vehicle.
  6. Remove the bolts (x8) that attach the valance to the front fascia, and then remove the valance from the vehicle.

    Newer vehicles are equipped with 6 T40 bolts and 2 10mm bolts.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T40 socket
    • (If equipped) 10 mm socket
  7. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the super horn to the valance, and then remove the super horn from the valance.

Install

  1. Install the super horn to the valance, and then install the screws (x3) that attach the super horn to the valance.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the valance to the front fascia, and install the bolts (x8) that attach the valance to the fascia.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)

    Newer vehicles are equipped with 6 T40 bolts and 2 10mm bolts.

  3. Connect the super horn connector, and then install the clip that attaches the super horn harness to the super horn.
  4. Install the nuts (x2) at the LH and RH corners of the valance.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)

  5. Install the clip that attaches the super horn cover to the front fascia.
  6. Install the push clips (x6) that attach the LH and RH sides of the valance to the wheel liners.
  7. Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
