CAUTION
For Europe only: Only technicians who have been trained in working with diisocyanates and have completed all required certification courses are permitted to perform procedures using urethane and other products containing diisocyanates. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when working with products containing diisocyanates.

Removal

  1. Open LH front door.
  2. Lower LH front window.
  3. Open liftgate.
  4. Raise and support vehicle.

    Set air suspension to "Jack Mode" Via Controls > Service > ''Jack Mode''.
  5. Raise vehicle fully and lower onto locks.

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side.
  6. Remove bolts securing mid aero shield to rear fascia.

    11x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 2x bolt, T30, 4.5 Nm.
  7. Lower vehicle to comfortable working height.

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side, Ensure the vehicle is stable by rocking the vehicle on the lift immediately after the tires have left the ground, Always lower the lift arms onto the locks after raising the vehicle.
  8. Remove LH liftgate stop from vehicle.

  12. Remove bolt securing LH top of fascia to bracket.

  23. Disconnect rear fascia harness connector.

  24. Remove both rear reflex lamps from rear fascia applique.

  3. Install diffuser to rear fascia.

  4. Install screws securing diffuser to fascia.

  5. Install rear reflex lamps into new rear fascia applique.

  18. Clean LH liftgate body trough trim surface.

    Use IPA wipes to clean body surface where trough trim is fasten with double sided strip, Allow 1 minute for dry time.
  19. Clean RH liftgate body trough trim surface.

  20. Clean LH liftgate trough trim surface.

    Use IPA wipes to clean trough trim where double sided tape is attached to, Allow 1 minute for dry time, Apply 3M tape primer to tape surface .

  24. Install LH liftgate trough trim into place.

  25. Install RH liftgate trough trim into place.

  26. Install LH liftgate stop from vehicle.

  28. Close liftgate.

  31. Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground.

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered.
  32. Remove vehicle from lift.

    Lower rack arms fully and move them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode" Controls => Service => Jack Mode.
  33. Raise LH front window.
  34. Close LH front door.
