- Open LH front door
-
Open hood
NoteVia center display > Controls > Front Trunk
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
- For Tesla air suspensions, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Service-Mode" into the search field, click PROC_TAS_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODESearch for routine in ToolboxTAS Enter Service Run Mode, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- To deflate the reservoir, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Deflate" into the search field, click PROC_TAS_X_DEFLATESearch for routine in ToolboxTAS Deflate ComponentChassis ➜ Suspension ➜ Deflate, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
-
Remove rear underhood apron
Note11x clips
-
Remove cable tie securing air lines to RH shock tower
Note1x cable tie
-
Cut black air suspension line between compressor and reservoir at RH shock tower
NoteWarning: High pressure air line, Failure to deflate system could lead to personal injury, Be sure to wear proper PPE
-
Remove plugs from fill valve
-
Install fill valve onto black air suspension line between compressor and reservoir
NoteFully push air line into fitting and give a slight pull to confirm line is fully engaged
-
Secure fill valve and air lines to clip at RH shock tower
Note2x cable ties, Secure properly to prevent NVH
-
Remove cap from fill valve
-
Verify red pressure regulator valve is fully closed
-
Open main valve on nitrogen tank
NoteVerify pressure is between 500-1500psi
-
Verify valve at hose adapter is closed
-
Attach nitrogen tank adapter to the inline fill valve
-
Open the pressure regulator valve on the nitrogen tank to release the line pressure in the lines
NoteOpen regulator valve to adjust pressure to 19-21 bar (275-305 psi), Open the valve slowly as gas pressure rises
-
Open lever on hose adapter to fill reservoir
NoteSupplying Nitrogen automatically fills the reservoir. Nitrogen supply begins filling the reservoir up to 290 psi or 20 bar. Give it some time to settle pressure equally between set Nitrogen set pressure and vehicle reservoir.
- In Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Normal-Mode" into the search field, click PROC_TAS_X_ENTER-NORMAL-MODESearch for routine in ToolboxTAS Enter Normal Run Mode, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
-
