Actuator - E Release - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 11351702

Removal

  1. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install) .
  2. Release the clip that attaches the door handle release cable to the closeout panel.
  3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the LH front door E release actuator connector.
  4. Release the clips (x3) that secure the LH front door E release actuator to the closeout panel, and then separate the actuator from the panel.
  5. Use a pry tool to separate the E release cable from the LH front door E release actuator, remove the barrel end of the cable out of the actuator clevis, and then remove the actuator from the vehicle.

Installation

  1. Install the barrel end of the E release cable into the LH front door E release actuator clevis, and then fasten the release cable to the actuator.
  2. Install the LH front door E release actuator into the closeout panel, and then fasten the clips (x3) that secure the actuator to the panel.
  3. Connect the electrical harness to the LH front door E release actuator connector.
  4. Fasten the clip that attaches the door handle release cable to the closeout panel.
  5. Install the front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install) .
