Module - Rear Door Controller- LH (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 11333202

Removal

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect 12V power. See Disconnect 12V Power.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x2) from the bottom of the rear door controller.
  4. Remove the screws (x3) that secure the rear door controller to the door (torque 1.5 Nm).
  5. Remove the rear door controller from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  1. Connect a laptop to the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and then use Toolbox 3 to locally connect to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  2. Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication. See Gateway Unlock.
  3. Using Toolbox 3:
    1. Select the Actions tab and search for "BCRDM Rear".
    2. Select the ODIN routine PROC_BCRDM_REAR-DRV_SIDE-LEARNSearch for routine in Toolbox, and then click the link of the routine.

      Note
      This ODIN routine needs to be run when the driver side rear door controller module is replaced. When the passenger side rear door controller module is replaced, run the ODIN routine PROC_BCRPM_REAR-PASS_SIDE-LEARNSearch for routine in Toolbox.
    3. Click RUN, and allow the routine to complete.
  4. Reinstall the latest vehicle firmware, or update the firmware if not the latest. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen or Firmware Update.
