Bracket - License Plate - Front (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. If installed, remove the screws that secure the front license plate to the front license plate bracket.
  2. Remove the self-tapping screws (x3) that secure the front license plate bracket to the front fascia. Remove the license plate bracket.

Installation

  1. Clean the license plate bracket installation location using IPA wipes. Allow to fully dry before continuing.
  2. Place the license plate bracket against the front fascia so that the holes in the bracket are aligned with the holes in the fascia.

    Note
    Make sure the bottom of the license plate bracket is flush with the front fascia.
  3. Install the self-tapping screws (x3) that secure the front license plate bracket to the front fascia (torque 0.5 Nm).

    CAUTION
    Do not overtorque the screws.
  4. If installing the front license plate, install the screws that secure the front license plate to the front license plate bracket.
