Note
This procedure requires the A/C Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a separate activity to the Service Visit.

Removal

  1. Recover refrigerant from the vehicle. See A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recharge (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the HEPA filter housing (refer to procedure).
  3. Release the clip that secures the control fan module (CFM) harness to gain access to the low pressure pressure and temperature sensor.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the low pressure pressure and temperature sensor.
  5. Reach between the CFM and cross car beam with a 24 mm Crowfoot wrench to remove the low pressure pressure and temperature sensor from the A/C pipe (torque 8 Nm).

    CAUTION
    Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
  6. Remove the low pressure pressure and temperature sensor from the vehicle.
