Antenna - Bluetooth (Remove and Replace)

  • 2023-05-18: Added a video in Install part to avoid damage to components and/or personal injury.

Removal

  1. Remove the Media Control Unit (MCU), but do not disconnect the harness connectors from the MCU at this time. See Media Control Unit (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the bluetooth antenna harness connector from the MCU.
  3. Release the bluetooth antenna from the IP carrier, and then remove the bluetooth antenna from the vehicle.

Note
When installing the Autopilot ECU, it is necessary to tighten its nuts according to the torque specified in the repair manual (5 Nm). Excessive torque can cause the internal threads to strip.
  1. Fasten the bluetooth antenna to the IP carrier, and then install the bluetooth antenna to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the bluetooth antenna harness connector to the MCU.
  3. Install the Media Control Unit (MCU), but do not disconnect the harness connectors from the MCU at this time. See Media Control Unit (Remove and Install).
