Receiver Dryer and Desiccant (Add-On) (Remove and Replace)

Equipment:
- 1081547-00-B - SMALL SLIDE HAMMER
- 1145232-00-A - TOOL, DESSICANT FILTER, MODEL 3
Remove
- Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).

Remove the 4 bolts and 6
clips that secure the lower front fascia to the front fascia, and then
remove the lower front fascia.

Use a Torx T50 to remove the
cover from the LH side of the condenser (torque 4 Nm).

Remove the snap ring from
the condenser. Discard the snap ring.
WarningWear the Face Shield throughout the entire process to protect against foreign objects flying out under pressure.

Use the small slide hammer
to pull out the inner plug. Discard the inner plug.

Remove the desiccant
bag.
Install
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
