Bracket - 2nd Row Floor Panel - LH (Without 2nd Row Bench Seats)

Removal

  1. Remove the LH and RH rear sill trim panels (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the LH and RH lower C-Pillar trim panels (refer to procedure).
  3. Remove the 2nd row middle floor panel (refer to procedure).
  4. If equipped, remove the the foam block between the LH 2nd row and center 2nd row seats.
  5. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
  6. Choose from the following:
    • Before removal: To enable seat install mode, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Seat-Install" into the search field, click PROC_BCREAR_X_SEAT-INSTALL-MODE-ONSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    • After installation: To disable seat install mode, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Seat-Install" into the search field, click PROC_BCREAR_X_SEAT-INSTALL-MODE-OFFSearch for routine in Toolbox, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  7. Pull outward on the outboard LH podium trim to release the clips that secure it to the seat.

    CAUTION
    Replace any broken clips.
  8. Working from the RH side of the vehicle, pull outward on the inboard LH podium trim to release the clips that secure it to the seat.
  9. Using a pick or similar tool, peel back the carpet from the front sliding panel to access the screws underneath.

    Note
    This carpet is a one time use component. Ensure that a new carpet is installed during reinstallation.
  10. Remove the screws that secure the front sliding panel to the seat tracks (torque 2.5 Nm).
  11. Release the harness block from the floor panel bracket.
  12. Release the fasteners that secure the floor panel bracket.
  13. Release the clips that secure the harness to the floor panel bracket.
  14. Remove the floor panel bracket from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
