Sensor - Radar - Center - Front (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the front fascia (refer to procedure).
  2. Disconnect the harness on the bottom of the radar sensor.
  3. Use a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to gently pry up the tabs on the top of the radar bracket. Gently release the radar sensor from the bracket.

    The following image shows the electrical connector still connected to the bottom of the radar sensor.
  4. Remove the radar sensor from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  1. Update the vehicle firmware. See Firmware Update.
  2. Calibrate the front radar sensor (refer to procedure).
