Note
This procedure requires the A/C Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a separate correction within the same activity to the Service Visit.

Procedure

  1. Remove the cooling fan module. See Cooling Fan Module (Remove and Install).
  2. Release the clips (x12) that attach the active louver to the fan shroud assembly., and then remove the active louver from the fan shroud assembly.
  3. Release the retaining clips (x2) that attach the radiator to the fan shroud assembly.
  4. Clean debris from the radiator.

    Vacuum both sides of radiator. Take care not to damage the fins of the radiator.
  5. Clean the radiator with compressed air.

  6. Install the retaining clips (x2) that attach the radiator onto the fan shroud bracket.
  7. Install the clips (x12) that attach the active louver onto the fan shroud assembly.
  8. Install the cooling fan module. See Cooling Fan Module (Remove and Install).
