Integral Link - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.

Removal

  1. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the nut and bolt that attach the integral link to the knuckle.
  3. Remove the nut and bolt that attach the integral link to the lower control arm.
  4. Remove the integral link from the vehicle.

Installation

  1. Install the integral link to the vehicle.
  2. First install the bolt and nut that attach the integral link to the knuckle (torque 130 Nm) and then install the bolt and nut that attach the integral link to the lower control arm (torque 130 Nm).
  3. Remove the existing paint mark from the LH integral link fasteners, and then mark the integral link fasteners with a paint pen.

    Note
    Clean the area thoroughly so the new marking is not confused with the previous marking.
  4. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Refer to the Alignment Requirement tables to determine whether an EPAS alignment check (EC) or four wheel alignment check (AC) is necessary. If performed, add the alignment check/adjust as a separate activity. See Alignment Requirement - Suspension.
