NoteA plastic plug holds the fitting together before and during installation.
- Remove the plastic plug from each new fitting.
- Tighten the new fitting (torque 2 Nm).
- Insert the appropriate air suspension line fully into each fitting, and then lightly pull on each line to make sure that it is secure.
- Make sure that all air suspension lines are securely reconnected before continuing.
-
Refill the air suspension system with Nitrogen. See
Air Suspension - Pressurize/Depressurize - Full System
.
NoteIf the rear air suspension lines were replaced because of a leak, perform the additional steps to purge the accumulated moisture from the dryer.
- Verify the correct operation of the air suspension system by cycling the ride height from very low to very high and back to standard.
