Rocker Panel - LH (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 12202002

  • 2026-09-02: Added the fender garnish steps and updated the fastener information.

Remove

  1. Air suspension vehicles: Set the suspension to the "High" setting.
  2. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  3. Open the LH falcon door.
  4. Release the rear portion of the LH front fender garnish (3x clips, 2x tabs).
  5. Remove the push clip and the screw that secure the front of the rocker panel (torque 3 Nm).
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 bit
  6. Release the push clips (x3) at the front of the rear arch liner and pull back the arch liner for access.
  7. Release the front portion of the LH rear fender garnish (3x clips).
  8. Remove the bolt that secures the rear of the rocker panel to the body (torque 3 Nm).
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  9. Remove the bolt that secures the bottom of the rear wheel fairing to the rocker panel (torque 3 Nm).
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm deep socket
  10. Remove the rear wheel fairing from the vehicle.
  11. Release the covers at the bottom of the rocker panel to expose the hidden push clips.
  12. Remove the push clips (x6) that secure the rocker panel to the bottom of the rocker panel.
    CAUTION
    Replace any broken clips.
  13. Release the clips (x14) that secure the rocker panel to the rocker panel carrier.
    CAUTION
    Replace any broken clips.
  14. Remove the LH rocker panel from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
