Fuse Box - Cabin - Front (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Disconnect 12V power (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the LH center console closeout extension (refer to procedure).
  3. Remove the floor mat, if equipped.
  4. Remove the nut that secures the 12V positive terminal to the instrument panel (torque 9 Nm).
  5. Carefully peel back the carpet for access.
  6. Remove the bolt that secures the bracket to the bulkhead (torque 5.5 Nm).
  7. Disconnect all electrical connectors from the fuse box.

  8. Release the push clip that secures the harness bundle to the fuse box.
  9. Push both tabs at the bottom of the fuse box upwards and release the top of the fuse box from the bracket.
  10. Maneuver the front cabin fuse box away from the bracket and instrument panel then remove it from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
