Hose - Drain - Rear HVAC (Remove and Replace)

Correction Code 18103902

Removal

  1. Remove the mid aero shield (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the barrel clip that secures the coolant hose to the stud on the body.
  3. Release the clip that secures the drain hose to the stud on the body.
  4. Remove the screw that secures the RH side of the rear fascia to the vehicle (torque 4.5 Nm).

  5. Release the push clips (x2) that secure the RH side of the rear fascia to the vehicle.

  6. Release the drain hose from the nipple on the bottom of the rear HVAC assembly.

  7. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

CAUTION
Replace any broken clips.
  1. Install a new cable tie clip on the drain hose approximately 150 mm from the outlet. Remove any excess tie.
  2. Ensure that the drain hose is routed correctly:
    • The drain hose is not twisted, pinched, or kinked.
    • The drain hose is not routed through the rear aero shield trunk bracket.
