Actuator and Cable - Cinching (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the liftgate latch (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the cinching actuator bracket to the liftgate (torque 3 Nm).
  3. Disconnect the harness connector from the cinching actuator.
  4. Remove the cinching actuator and cable assembly from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
