Air Suspension - Pressurize/Depressurize - One Air Spring

Depressurize

  1. Position the vehicle on a 2-post lift, but do not raise the vehicle at this time.

    CAUTION
    Set the suspension to "High" or "Very High" to allow the vehicle to be positioned and supported correctly on a vehicle lift.

    Activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle sufficiently to unload the suspension. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Connect a laptop to the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and then use Toolbox 3 to locally connect to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  4. Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication. See Gateway Unlock.
  5. Using Toolbox 3:
    1. Select the Actions tab and search for "TAS deflate component".
    2. Select the ODIN routine PROC_TAS_X_DEFLATEvia Toolbox: (link)via Service Mode: Chassis ➜ Suspension ➜ Deflate, and then click the link of the routine.
    3. Select the FL, FR, RL or RR air spring as necessary.
    4. Click RUN, and allow the routine to complete.

Pressurize

Note
Use this procedure to fill an air spring module when there is sufficient air mass in the reservoir. If there is not sufficient air mass in the reservoir, pressurize the full system. See Air Suspension - Pressurize/Depressurize - Full System .
  1. Lower the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift .
  2. Connect a laptop to the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and then use Toolbox 3 to locally connect to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  3. Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication. See Gateway Unlock.
  4. Using Toolbox 3:
    1. Select the Actions tab and search for "TAS service mode".
    2. Select the ODIN routine PROC_TAS_X_ENTER-NORMAL-MODEvia Toolbox: (link), and then click the link of the routine.
    3. Click RUN, and allow the routine to complete.
  5. Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
  6. Sit in the driver or front passenger seat, close all doors, and confirm that the vehicle moves appropriately as the suspension height is adjusted through the touchscreen.
