Insulator - Motor Bay - Rear (5 Seat) (Remove & Replace)

Correction code 15308512

Removal

  1. Open both falcon doors.
  2. Open the trunk.
  3. Remove the rear load floor.
  4. Remove the trunk gap hider.
  5. Remove the LH and RH trunk sill side trim. See Garnish - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH and RH C-pillar mid trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Release the clip and tabs (x3) that attach the load floor support to the LH and RH lower C-pillar

  8. Remove LH and RH rear welcome plate. See Welcome Plate - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the LH and RH lower C-panel trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the trunk carpet
  11. Make a relief cut to remove the motor bay insulator from around the HV cables.

    Take care to not damage HV cables.
  12. Make a relief cut to remove the motor bay insulator from around the coolant hose

    Take care to not damage the coolant hose.
  13. Lift the motor bay insulator up, clearing it from the gap hider brackets.
  14. Remove the motor bay insulator from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
