Removal
- Open the LH front door and lower the window.
- Enable Jack Mode. SeeJack Mode Activation.
- Loosen the RH front wheel lug nuts.
- Depressurize the front air spring modules. See Air Suspension - Pressurize/Depressurize - One Air Spring.

Use a crowfoot extension to
release the air spring module line (blue) from the top of the front LH shock
tower (torque 2 Nm).
CAUTIONPlug the line connection to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
- Release the clips that secure the air spring module line (blue) to the body.
-
Use two wrenches to release
the air suspension line (larger diameter black) from the RH side of the
reservoir, one to hold the mounting (13mm) and a crowfoot extension to turn
the fitting (12mm) (torque 5 Nm).
CAUTIONPlug the line connection to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
-
Use a crowfoot extension to
release the air spring module line (yellow) from the top of the front RH
shock tower (torque 2 Nm).
CAUTIONPlug the line connection to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
-
Release the clip that
secures the front air suspension lines (blue, yellow, and larger diameter
black) to the front crossmember.
NoteIf there is a Schrader fill valve located at this clip, retain the valve for reuse with the installation of the replacement lines.

Nm).
CAUTIONPlug the line connection to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
-
Release the front air spring
module lines (blue and yellow) from the air suspension valve block (torque
3.5 Nm).
CAUTIONPlug the line connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.
-
From inside the front RH fender well, release the clips that secure the front air suspension line bundle to the body.
- Remove the front air suspension line bundle from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
-
For each released end of an air suspension line, install and hand-tighten a new collet and nut (VOSS fitting).
NoteA plastic plug holds the fitting together before and during installation.
- Remove the plastic plug from each new fitting.
- Insert the appropriate air suspension line fully into each fitting, and then lightly pull on each line to make sure that it is secure.
- Make sure that all air suspension lines are securely reconnected before continuing.
-
Install the Schrader fill valve. See
Fill Valve - Air (Retrofit).
NoteReuse the same Schrader fill valve if one was previously installed. Compress the black collars to remove the lines from the valve.
-
Refill the air suspension system with Nitrogen. See
Air Suspension - Pressurize/Depressurize - Full System
.
NoteIf the front air suspension lines were replaced because of a leak, perform the additional steps to purge the accumulated moisture from the dryer.
