Insulator - Motor Bay - Rear (7 Seat) (Remove & Replace)

Correction code 15308532

Removal

  1. Open both falcon doors.
  2. Open the trunk.
  3. Remove the rear load floor.
  4. Remove the LH and RH trunk sill side trim. See Garnish - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the rear trunk sill trim. See Trim - Rear Trunk - Sill (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the rear trunk board.
  7. Remove the trunk floor carpet.
  8. Remove the 3rd row seat assembly. See .
  9. Chase bolts holes to clean out the old Locktite.
  10. Remove LH and RH rear welcome plate. See Welcome Plate - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the LH and RH lower C-panel trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the 2nd row floor panel #3.
  13. Remove the LH Lava tube foam piece covering the charger cable.
  14. Remove the RH Lava tube foam piece.
  15. Make a relief cut to remove the motor bay insulator from around the HV cables.

    take care to not damage HV cables.
  16. Lift up the motor bay insulator and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
