Remove

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Move both front seats forward.
  4. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the HEPA filter. See Filter - HEPA (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the 2nd row floor mat.
  7. Remove the LH rear sill panel. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Move the 60 seat fully forward.
  9. Tape the LH lower C-pillar area around the 2nd row seat side trim area.
  10. Apply tape to the LH racetrack to avoid damage.
  11. Remove the lower C-pillar trim panel. See Trim - C-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. If equipped, fold down the 3rd row seats.
  13. Remove the LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
  14. Remove screws securing C-pillar lower panel to LH parcel shelf support

  15. Release clips securing rear edge of LH C-pillar lower panel to rear trunk side carpet panel and pull top edge of C-pillar lower panel out

    This gives you room need to remove the trim.
  78. Release the cable clips (x2) from the 40 RH side of riser.
  79. Use plastic trim tool to pry the cable clips (x2) away from the cable retainer, and then release the cable from the 40 outer track actuator.
  80. Use plastic trim tool to pry the cable clips (x2) away from the cable retainer, and then release the cable from the 40 inner track actuator.
  81. Remove the EZ entry track release cable assembly from the 40 seat.

Install

  1. Position EZ entry track release cable assembly to 40 seat
  2. Install cable onto 40 LH outer track actuator

  14. Secure cable to actuator slider assembly
