Function check LH front door

Remove underhood aprons
Note4x aprons, LH and RH aprons have 1x clip each, First remove rear apron, Then remove LH and RH aprons, Last remove front apron

Remove frunk carpet
Note2x connectors, Release the carpet from underneath the seal

Remove frunk assembly
Note10x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 10x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm

Remove HEPA filter housing
NoteLift up from bottom and pull out, *Note: There may or may not be a filter in housing based on vehicle configuration

Perform inspection of under hood
area
NotePerform inspection of vehicle under hood area, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance

Inspect brake fluid level

Inspect coolant level and top off as
necessary
NoteEnsure coolant is filled using G-48 coolant

Raise vehicle fully and lower lift
onto locks
NoteSet vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

Remove front aero shield
Note6x bolts, 10mm, 3 Nm, 14x clips

Remove rear aero shield
Note20x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 2x push clips

Check tire pressures
Note4x tires, Set to specification if necessary

Measure and record LH front tread
depth

Measure and record LH front brake pad

Inspect underside of vehicle for
coolant or brake fluid leaks

Perform inspection of steering
components
NoteCheck steering gear joints, fasteners, and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

Perform inspection of front suspension
components
NoteCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Perform inspection of rear suspension
components
NoteCheck conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

Inspect HV battery for damage
NoteCheck for dents, fluid leaks, or other signs of instability, If damage found then reach out to Service Engineering

Install rear aero shield
Note20x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 2x push clips. Start bolts with cordless, torque with 1/4 torque wrench

Install front aero shield
Note6x bolts, 10mm, 3 Nm, 14x clips

Lower vehicle fully
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

Install HEPA filter housing
NoteAlign opening on back of housing to HEPA filter outlet duct opening, *Note: There may or may not be a filter in housing based on vehicle configuration

Install frunk assembly
Note10x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm, 10x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm, Hand start all bolts first then tighten with tools

Install frunk carpet
Note2x connectors, Make sure that the carpet is attached beneath the seal.

Install under hood aprons
Note4x aprons, First install front apron, Then install LH and RH aprons, Last install rear apron

Close hood
-
Perform a road test using a series of
ABS-active stops and ensure proper brake pedal feel and performance
NoteThe vehicle must stop completely within 25 feet (7.6 meters) at 20 mph (32 kph), Confirm that no excessive vibration or noise is present

Inspect vehicles alignment
NoteConfirm steering wheel is straight and no vibrations or noises are felt or heard from the suspension, On a flat road, at 35 mph (56 kph), the vehicle does not pull in either direction
