Ride Height - Adjust
Correction Code 31001000

Setup
- Open the driver's door and lower the window.
- Remove heavy objects from the vehicle.
- Make sure that turn and slip plates are locked.
- Position the vehicle onto the alignment rack.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock.
- Exit the vehicle, and then place wheel chocks at both sides of the LH rear wheel.
- Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height. See Raise Vehicle - 4 Post Lift.

Set the tire machine pressures to match those specified for the vehicle.
NoteRefer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar.
- Install inflation hoses onto all four wheels so that tire pressures can be set automatically.
- Make sure that the chassis height measurement tool is zeroed at 51 mm, and adjust if necessary.
- Remove the tire pressure hoses from the valve stems, and then reinstall the valve stem caps.
Calibration

Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication, if not already unlocked. See Gateway Unlock.
NoteUnder normal circumstances, the gateway should be unlocked long enough to perform the calibration procedure without re-unlocking the gateway.

In Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Level to Height" into the search field, click PROC_TAS_X_LEVEL-TO-HEIGHTSearch for routine in ToolboxLevel Tesla Air SuspensionChassis ➜ Alignment & Tires ➜ Set Suspension Height, select Cycle, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
NoteMake sure the liftgate and all doors are closed when cycling the suspension height. If necessary, take the laptop out of the vehicle, running the cable through the open window.
- Click the Actions/Autodiag tab, type "Calibrate Air Suspension" into the search field, click PROC_TAS_X_CALIBRATE-RIDE-HEIGHTSearch for routine in ToolboxTesla Ride Height Calibration, and then click Run.
- Review the suspension bolt height (ride height) specifications. See Wheel Alignment.

Measure the ride height at the four designated points, enter the values into the Toolbox 3 routine, click Submit, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Level Tesla Air Suspension" into the search field, click Search for routine in Toolbox, select Cycle, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Ride-Height-Calibration" into the search field, click Search for routine in Toolbox.

Measure the ride height at the four designated points, enter the values into the Toolbox 3 routine, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
NoteIf the routine fails, find the root cause and restart the calibration procedure.
Finishing Up
- Once all Toolbox 3 routines have been completed, disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).

- Remove the wheel chocks.
