Reservoir Assembly - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace)

Removal
- Remove the underhood storage unit (refer to procedure).

Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
NoteIf a check valve is installed in the hose, remove and discard the check valve.
- Release the push clip that attaches the windshield washer reservoir filler neck to the front end carrier.
- Remove the LH front wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
- Disconnect the electrical harness from the washer pump connector and the fluid level sensor connector.
- Disconnect the electrical harness from the LH front accelerometer connector.
- Release the electrical harness clips from the windshield washer reservoir assembly.
- Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the windshield washer reservoir assembly to the body.
- Remove the windshield washer reservoir assembly from the vehicle by maneuvering it out through the wheel well.
- Recover the washer fluid from the windshield washer reservoir.
Installation
- Install the windshield washer reservoir assembly into the vehicle by maneuvering it in through the wheel well.
- Install the nuts (x3) that attach the windshield washer reservoir assembly to the body (torque 5 Nm).
- Fasten the electrical harness clips to the windshield washer reservoir assembly.
- Connect the electrical harness to the LH front accelerometer connector.
- Connect the electrical harness to the washer pump connector and the fluid level sensor connector.
- Install the LH front wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
- Fasten the push clip that attaches the windshield washer reservoir filler neck to the front end carrier.

Connect the windshield washer hose.
NoteIf the check valve was removed previously, install an inline coupler.
- Install the underhood storage unit (refer to procedure).
- Fill the windshield washer reservoir with washer fluid, and check the operation.
