Note
Perform this repair if a standoff separates from the floor panel:
  1. Use a narrow scraper or flat blade screwdriver to remove old adhesive from the mounting groove on the floor panel.
  2. Use 120 grit sandpaper to prepare the surface of the mounting groove.
  3. Clamp the standoff in a vise.
  4. Use a utility knife to remove old adhesive from the standoff.

    To avoid personal injury, wear cut-resistant gloves when performing this operation.
  5. Use 120 grit sandpaper to prepare the surface of standoff.
  6. Vacuum the floor panel and standoff to remove debris.
  7. Use alcohol wipes to clean the surfaces of the floor panel and standoff.
  8. Apply 3M Scotch-Weld structural plastic adhesive DP8010 to the floor panel.

    Check the expiration date of the adhesive before use.

    Check the adhesive packaging for the appropriate working time. Prepare the necessary tools and work environment so that the the standoff can be installed within the specified working time.
  9. Install the standoff on the floor panel. Press firmly so that the adhesive flows through the holes on the standoff.
  10. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 1 hour before reinstalling the floor panel.
