Pipes - High/Low Pressure - Rocker to Rear HVAC (Remove and Replace)

Note

This procedure requires the A/C Refrigerant (Recovery and Recharge) procedure to be performed. If not already automatically added to the Service Visit, add correction code 18200102 as a separate activity to the Service Visit.

Removal

Recover refrigerant from the vehicle (refer to procedure).
Remove the RH rear wheel arch liner (refer to procedure).
Remove the mid aero shield (refer to procedure).
Remove the nuts (x2) that secure the rocker-to-rear-HVAC high/low pressure pipes to the rocker high/low pressure pipes (torque low pressure side 20 Nm, torque high pressure side 10.5 Nm).
Remove the nut that secures the rocker-to-rear-HVAC high/low pressure pipes to the rear TXV valve (torque 10.5 Nm).
Remove the nuts (x4) that secure the rocker-to-rear-HVAC high/low pressure pipes brackets to the studs on the body of the vehicle (torque 5.5 Nm).
Remove the rocker-to-rear-HVAC high/low pressure pipes from the vehicle.
