Panoramic Roof - Calibrate

CAUTION
For Europe only: Only technicians who have been trained in working with diisocyanates and have completed all required certification courses are permitted to perform procedures using urethane and other products containing diisocyanates. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when working with products containing diisocyanates.

Check

  1. Close panoramic roof glass using touch screen.
  2. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
  3. Unlock the gateway. See Gateway Unlock.
  4. Use Toolbox to clear the DTCs for the sunroof module.
    1. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
    2. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock.
    3. In Toolbox 3, click Dashboards > Service Tools > DTCs, and then select the type of DTCs to read.

      Note
      If uncertain, click Check All.
    4. Click Read DTCs to display the DTCs.
    5. If necessary, power cycle the vehicle.
    6. Click Clear DTCs to clear the DTCs.
  5. In Toolbox 3, click the Actions tab, type "Sunroof-Calibrate" into the search field, click PROC_CID_X_SUNROOF-CALIBRATESearch for routine in ToolboxCalibrate sunroofClosures / Sunroof - Calibrate Sunroof, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  6. When calibration is complete, disconnect the laptop with Toolbox from the vehicle.

Adjust

  1. If the entire roof frame has been changed: Ensure the sliding panel does not foul or lift the rubber seal on the fixed glass panel as it opens. This must be conducted before the urethane sealant cures. Adjust frame locally to achieve desired operation.
