Switch - Adjust - Driver's Seat (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the driver seat outer side cover (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove the screws that attach the adjust switch to the cover.

    Note
    Model S built after August 2016 have the same front seats as Model X.
    • For vehicles built before August 2016: Remove the screws (x3) that attach the switch to the cover (torque 1 Nm).
    • For vehicle built after August 2016:Remove the screws (x4) that attach the switch to the cover (torque 0.9 Nm).
  3. Remove the switch.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Avoid stripping the holes in the side cover. Install the screws slowly when attaching the switch to the side cover.
