Air Dryer - Tesla Air Suspension (Regenerate)

Wear eye protection
while performing this procedure.
CAUTION
Use the Nitrogen
refill kit to refill the air suspension reservoir. Do not use shop air, which might
contain contaminants that could damage the air suspension system.
Procedure
- Press the brake pedal to turn on the drive rail.
- Latch the LH front door to the closed position.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace)
- Remove the Schrader valve cap from the air suspension reservoir.
- Close the Nitrogen tank valve, the pressure regulator valve, and the air line valve of the Nitrogen tank kit.
- Make sure the red knob on the pressure regulator is fully closed.
- Open the main valve on the Nitrogen bottle and verify pressure is above 500 psi (34 bar) and below the maximum allowed limit for the bottle.

Make sure that the valve at
the hose adapter is closed.
- Attach the Nitrogen tank adapter to the reservoir.
- Slowly open the pressure regulator valve on the Nitrogen bottle and adjust pressure to 275-305 psi (19-21 bar).
- On the touchscreen, set suspension ride height to Low via .
- On the touchscreen, set suspension ride height to Very High via .
- Repeat steps 11 and 12 twice.
- Set air suspension to Medium.
- Close the lever on the hose adapter to fill reservoir.
- Close the main valve on the Nitrogen bottle.
- Close the pressure regulator valve on the Nitrogen bottle.
- Disconnect the Nitrogen tank adapter from the reservoir, and the install the cap onto the reservoir valve.
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace)
- Release the LH front door latch.
