Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Choose the appropriate procedure based on the vehicle's configuration and date of manufacture:

1st Generation

Correction Code 12010902

Warning
If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.

Removal

  1. Remove the LH wheel arch liner louver (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove plastic rivets (x5) and nut (x1) securing wheel arch liner to body (torque 4 Nm).

  3. Remove wheel arch liner.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

2nd Generation

Warning
If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.

Removal

  1. Remove the front underhood apron (refer to procedure).
  2. Remove the LH underhood apron (refer to procedure).
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron (refer to procedure).
  4. Release the drain hose from the LH side of the HEPA filter inlet duct.
  5. Remove the front LH wheel (refer to procedure).
  6. Release the fasteners (x3) that secure the front aero shield to the arch liner (torque 4 Nm).
  7. Release the nuts (x2) that secure the arch liner to the body.
  8. Release the push clips (x7) that secure the arch liner.
  9. Release the clips (x3) that secure the front of the arch liner. Remove the arch liner from the vehicle.
  10. Release the edge clips (x2) that secure the drain hose to the arch liner.

    Note the location of the clips. Ensure that the clips are installed in the same locations on the new arch liner.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Transfer the drain hose to the new arch liner.
